- How fast is Wireless Netvision?

- Speeds range from 144Kb to 1.5Mb per second. Speeds vary based on signal
strength and general Internet congestion. When you purchase Wireless
Netvision service at a specific speed you are purchasing a
"Maximum Information Rate" this is the rate that your
connection can burst to while sending and receiving data.

- Do you guarantee download and upload speeds?

- Although we wish we could guarantee actual download and upload speeds,
because of many different variables, we cannot guarantee that your
speeds will always achieve the maximum speed that you purchase. For
instance if you buy a 512Kb/512Kb circuit actual speeds will vary. This is based on the server that you connect to,
what speeds that server has going to it, how busy it is, what Internet
routes are involved and any other general Internet congestion.

- How many computers can I connect to the service?

- Wireless
Netvision is priced by the connection speed and security level
desired. You may connect as many computers as you would like to your
connection. Additional computers will require a hub, switch or router
that supports Network Address Translation (NAT) we provide a single
static IP address per connection. You may purchase additional IP
address if you require more than one static IP address.

- Do I need a firewall?

We strongly recommend a firewall and up to date virus
protection for any connection that is on the Internet. With the recent
development of new viruses and attacks on both home and business
computers. We consider a firewall and virus protection as a minimum
requirement for all users.
We offer a router with a built in firewall if you do not have one
already installed at your location.

- Do you provide e-mail services with Wireless Netvision?

- Yes,
we provide e-mail services for both business and residential
customers. Our e-mail system supports both web based access and e-mail
client software such as Outlook and Eudora.

- How do I sign up for Wireless Netvision?

- Contact our offices, we will check your location to make sure your in
our coverage area.
Next we will discuss the service with you and quote you a price. If
you do not need any additional services the price will be our stand
pricing listed on this site.
Next we will schedule an installation date, when we arrive to install
your service we will confirm the link to our network before we attach
the equipment to your home or office building. If the link is
acceptable we will continue the installation. If for some reason we
are not able to obtain the link to our network we will not be able to
complete the installation and you will not be charged.
After the link has been confirmed the antenna is mounted on your roof
and a thin cable is run in to your home or office. We install the digital
interface unit and confirm the connection to the network.
After the Digital Interface Unit is installed and tested we provide
you with instruction to configure your computer to connect to the new
service.
